Next year, BSF will be studying the book of Romans and I can’t wait! I’m so excited that I will be focusing on Romans throughout this summer in preparation to lead a group of women next year. I want to first extend an invitation to anyone reading this to visit a BSF class near you this very week to register for Romans. The Romans study with BSF will begin the week of September 11th. There are day and evening classes. The day classes have a pre-school program for toddlers and babies. The evening classes have a school program for 1st grade through 12th grade. The children study the same section of scripture we study. It’s AWESOME!
I next want to extend an invitation for you to join me this summer in my study of Romans. There are 16 chapters and 17 weeks until it begins with BSF at the time of my writing. Thus, I am going to start my personal preparation for Romans NEXT WEEK. I am combining various Bible study methods and tools as I focus in on a chapter of Romans each week. If you are interested, here is the plan:
THE PLAN
On Mondays and Tuesdays, we will Write the Word. Divide the chapter in two and on Mondays we will write the first half, on Tuesdays the second half of the actual scripture (in the translation of your choice).
On Wednesdays, we will use the Good Morning Girls SOAK Method.
On Thursdays, we will use the Good Morning Girls Bible Coloring Method.
On Fridays (or at some point during the weekend), we will do homiletics. If you don’t know what that is, here’s a crash course with a worksheet. For my worksheet, click here.
Share your thoughts along the way on Instagram on the hashtag #WaterIntoWineFaith because Jesus transforms us & on #GoodMorningGirls because I’d love to help keep that feed filled with God’s Word and inspiration while Women Living Well is on sabbatical.
I love it, I start BSF as well so I will like to join.
Do you mean on mon and tues we will write the word not on wed and thursdays??
Yes! Thank yo for catching that! I was played by around with the order.

I’m in! And so excited. I am so sad Bsf is ending this week😢 but I’m hoping this will keep me focused and motivated. Thanks Laura
For Monday and Tuesday, you mean write out the whole chapter? I’m confused. I’ve never done this kind of BIble Study before. Thanks!
Yep! Write out the entire text in whichever translation. Then, on Thursday you can highlight that or you actual Bible when color coding the text.
I’m so excited for this sis!
🙋🏻😇 Love It💕
